How staircase requests are handled
Staircase refinishing and tread replacement are not part of this site's service list. You can mark a staircase as an optional related request on the estimate form. It may be routed separately, and a contractor for your floor project may not take on stairs.
Why stairs differ
Stair treads are hand sanded, have bullnoses and risers, and are often painted. They take more detail work per square foot and may involve different specialists.
